VSFS 2015: Lais Ribeiro (Ice Angels Segment)

Interestingly enough, not only has Brazilian Victoria's Secret Angel Lais Ribeiro become more fluent speaking English, but she seems to now have a newfound self-assuredness and confidence that may have something to do with her new romance. For some models, just growing up, getting older and maturing can have the same effect. Whatever it is, things sure do look great for Lais this year: handsome boyfriend who plays professional international basketball, new Victoria's Secret 'Angel' status and several magazine covers and editorials!

When Lais Ribeiro showed up at the 2015 Victoria's Secret after-party held at Tao Downtown (last year the event was held at Club Lavo across the street), she obviously came to slay wearing a sexy crochet jumpsuit ensemble fitted to show off her fabulous, sexy figure. Not only was she dressed to impress and turn heads, but she attended with her gorgeous boyfriend by her side. He is not only a great accessory but a long-time acquaintance and fixture in her life.

Backstage we catch a glimpse of Erin curling her eyelashes with an eyelash curler. Just adorable ... I suppose nothing is better than doing certain beauty routines yourself. The eyes are very delicate and I can't imagine the professional makeup artists on staff objecting to her wanting to do this chore herself.




The Victoria's Secret Annual Fashion Show has been held at the Lexington Armory in New York City from 2009 - 2012 and in 2002, 2003 and 2005. Every time the fabulous lingerie event is held in New York City, the after party is held at Lavo, an upscale Italian restaurant and night club.



Victoria's Secret Angel Erin Heatherton stepped out for the event wearing a dress of the prettiest tangerine coral color ... very flattering on her complexion. And the shoes that she paired with the dress added a very fashion forward flair to her outfit. Very sexy shoe choice.



The nightclub is located on the lower level of Lavo restaurant in New York. The restaurant and nightclub is located at 39 East 58th Street near Madison. The next time that I am in New York, I must visit this hot spot.


What is even more interesting about Erin Heatherton's 2012 VSFS After Party look at Lavo is her "just arriving" look. She is photographed smiling under an umbrella on the sidewalk just outside of the club restaurant. Seeing Erin dressed fully in a nice black leather jacket trimmed in fur layered over the tangerine coral dress is such a delight. This layered look makes her stylish heels really look spectacular.



Rainy, cold day in New York (obviously) but I am sure that inside Lavo, things warmed up rather quickly!

Adriana Lima: VSFS 2011 After Party

Whenever Victoria's Secret hosts their annual fashion runway show in New York at the Lexington Armory, the after party is always held at the luxurious Lavo Restaurant and Club in Manhattan (Correction: 2011 VSFS after party celebration was actually held at Dream Hotel Downtown NY!!! ... I am so used to it being held at Club Lavo). Adriana Lima looks fabulous in a bright blue Emilio Pucci dress for the 2011 VSFS after party. Who needs jewelry when your best accessory is a pair of black lace panties? I have never gone anywhere without jewelry of some sort but Adriana pulls off this look effortlessly.

She chose to keep her hair simple by wearing it pulled back in an elegant bun. The gorgeous Pucci dress is slightly see-through and looks super sexy on her. Like a work of art. Seems odd that she paired it with a textured black clutch and textured silver pumps. Nonetheless, this outfit just simply works without much effort put into it. Sometimes one's best fashion moment occurs when you just grab the pieces you love and just go.

And, oops! ... I can see the white label inside of her panties ... this I would have cut off ... but perhaps no one noticed or even cared.

Selita Ebanks: VSFS 2010 After Party, Backstage and Runway

Model Selita Ebanks wore a sexy black cocktail dress to the Victoria's Secret after party held at Lavo. Lavo is an upscale restaurant nightclub located in Manhattan, New York specializing in Italian and Mediterranean cuisine. The after party was held on November 10, 2010 right after the annual Victoria's Seret Fashion Show which was held nearby at the 69th Lexington Armory in the heart of New York City. Selita's jewelry and shoes accessorized the dress very well and added just the right touches of glamour.

Selita Ebanks walked in the "Wild Things" segment of the 2010 Victoria's Secret Fahion Show and perhaps this was her final runway walk for Victoria's Secret since her angel contract did not get renewed. I miss seeing Selita representing Victoria's Secret. Even though her time with them was short (approximately 4 years), she left behind many powerful runway moments.
