2015 SI Swimsuit: Chanel Iman (2)

I love featuring Chanel Iman on my blogs because not only does she have a look that many women can identify with, but she has that fabulous personality that just pulls you in closer. I have followed the career of Chanel Iman for quite some time now and have seen her blossom into an elegant, well-spoken young lady. There is something so attractive about the way that she speaks. I have mentioned this before but as she has matured and has gained more knowledge and insight, her communication ability has also been elevated.

The beauty of a woman is not just external; it is a combination of feminine grace, vibrant personality, great communication ability, above-average intelligence, creativity, talent and good moral character. Chanel Iman displays all of these charming traits. It is no wonder that she is featured for a second time in the annual Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue for 2015.

Being a former Victoria's Secret Angel, she brings added interest to the sports swimsuit pictorial with her large fan following stemming from her early career Teen Vogue cover and editorial feature alongside British model Jourdan Dunn. I know that I will probably never see her again on the Victoria's Secret runway (neither her nor Jourdan Dunn for that matter!) but I will love to see her again ... and again grace the pages of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Magazine. Perhaps fellow Teen Vogue model mate, Jourdan Dunn, should follow suit ... literally!

2016 Victoria's Secret MLB Collection Coming Soon!

2016 Victoria's Secret MLB Collection Coming Soon!

Victoria's Secret first teamed up with Major League Baseball to offer cute sports apparel for female fans in 2010. Victoria's Secret relaunched the MLB campaign in 2012. Now ... 4 years later for Spring 2016, they will bring back baseball league apparel for VS Pink fans to support their favorite teams in comfort and youthful, feminine style.

Shop :: VS PINK's College and Pro Collection

When they relaunch the Major League Baseball collection, my only request is "Can you please add the Houston Astros to your lineup?" In the past, only 11 major league baseball teams have been represented by the Victoria's Secret label. Currently, the Astros stand a chance of not only winning their division but taking the league's championship title for the 2015 season. Can we show 'em some Victoria's Secret love for 2016 with some team logo jerseys, crop tops and blinged-out caps? Yes ... it is the right thing to do if they win the World Series, don't ya think?

NOW is truly the TIME!

SI Swimsuit 2014: VS Model Chanel Iman (2)

Not only does Chanel Iman look lovely in the 2014 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue that was released earlier this year, but she is also rocking some cute summer fashions that I would love to own. My favorite look on her is this sand colored see-through mesh top by Chelsea Flower worn with ethnic jewelry and a tribal print bikini by Acacia Swimwear.

.: rockin' rollin' swaggin' to the max :.

Another one of my favorite looks on Chanel Iman is the fabulous ethnic print triangle bikini by Vix Swimwear that she sports in a fabulous turquoise color paired with a delicate, gold y-shaped drop necklace. Cute, youthful and flirty.

Victoria's Secret model Chanel Iman featured in the 2014 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. Need I say more?

Fellow Victoria's Secret model Lily Aldridge landed the cover posing in a cute trio with two other SI Swimsuit models while several other Victoria's Secret models were featured inside the magazine: Cris Urena, Bregje Heinen, Ariel Meredith, Sara Sampaio and ... [drum roll please] ... Chanel Iman!

She seems to pose (no pun intended) a bit of a challenge for Victoria's Secret who struggles in my opinion to consistently capture the relaxed yet sexy side of her in an appealing way. However, the photographer Derek Kettela over at Sports Illustrated Swimsuit seemed to not have a problem capturing her as her natural playful, flirty self. It is obviously all about being at ease with the photographer.

She was photographed in Madagascar, an island off of the coast of Southeast Africa surrounded by the Indian Ocean and oh how she shined. Once again, Chanel Iman going out there and just making it happen!
