VSFS 2013: Joan Smalls (Birds of Paradise)

Puerto Rican model Joan Smalls just shows up everywhere in the world of fashion. I can not keep up with her body of work because she is one of the most successful models currently in the industry. She outworks other top black models like Chanel Iman and Jourdan Dunn which says a lot because both of their resumes are quite impressive. In fact, all three of these top black models were handpicked by Beyonce Knowles to star in her newly released music video entitled Yonce'. Joan Smalls is featured in this video grilled out, sexy, urban and stylish. Quite a different vibe than how she looks on the Victoria's Secret runway.

For the 2013 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, she wore a beautiful pink bra and panty ensemble complete with garter belt and adorned with sexy peacock feathers. Love the romantic bow embellishments. Great lingerie look for Valentine's Day. Joan Smalls has a fierce runway walk and looks so pretty and elegantly sexy for Victoria's Secret.

2014 Valentine's Day VS Lingerie: Sara Sampaio

Portuguese model, Sara Sampaio, made her Victoria's Secret runway debut recently in the 2013 show. She is also being featured for the Victoria's Secret Valentine promo for 2014. What a treat! The fashion color of the year is radiant orchid or pastel purple. It is such a fabulous idea for the brand to show how sexy radiant orchid (pastel purple) can be for Valentine's Day! Such an unpredictable fashion choice for a holiday where reds and pinks have generally dominated. Be different this romantic season ... throw a bit of radiant orchid in with your pinks!

VSFS 2011 "Put a Spell on You" Segment: Adriana Lima

In 2011, soon after having her first-born baby, little Valentina, Adriana Lima strutted down the Victoria's Secret Runway. For the highly anticpiated annual lingerie show, she ignited the stage with her sexy exuberance! We surely did miss her for the 2010 runway show and was so anxious to see her back in tip-top shape ... and yes, I do mean physically.

The lingerie promo shots that were taken a few months before the runway show makes you gaze at them a little bit longer because of the noticeable quick weight loss wearing the same exact lingerie. The 2011 VS Fashion Show was actually taped in New York at the Lexington Armory on November 9th. She had mentioned to the media that she went on a liquids only diet right before this very important annual event. And, yes, she trimmed it down just a tad bit to look like she did before Valentina's arrival. Super Angel Adriana looking noticeably slimmer, trimmer and simply more fab for the 2011 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show!

Needless to say, Adriana sizzled in the "Put a Spell on You" segment. Her outfit for this segment had a certain devilish diva feel to it that suited Adriana so well and stood out among the other more romantic and delicate outfits for this same segment.
